National Geographic has described Corcovado National Park as one of the most biodiverse locations on earth. This region of the Osa Peninsular is one of the few remaining unspoiled parts of Costa Rica and is a magnet for biologists and nature lovers from around the world. 

 

Dos Brazos is located on the Rio Tigre, 13 km from the bustling town of Puerto Jimenez. There are daily 40-minute flights from San Jose to Puerto Jimenez or by car on a well-maintained paved highway. Dos Brazos is a tight-knit community nestled between the two branches of the Rio Tigre flowing from Corcovado. It is surrounded by mountains covered with lush rainforest, waterfalls and swimming holes. There is a small school, a couple of sodas and local produce for sale. Although it is slightly off the beaten track, the area hosts a small number of lodges and hostels that welcomes many nature lovers and adventurers alike.

 

The lodge comes with all permits, licences and a transferable corporation.  There is also an option to buy a 5.5-hectare conservation property of primary and secondary rainforest located about a 40-minute hike from Los Mineros.
